About Us
Built by someone who did it
E1VisaHelp was founded because the E-1 visa preparation market had a gap: lawyers who handle the legal filings, but nobody focused exclusively on the preparation that actually determines success.
Why we exist
The founder of E1VisaHelp went through the E-1 treaty trader visa process as a Canadian business owner expanding into the US. What he found: the most stressful, highest-stakes parts of the process — organizing your documents so they tell a coherent story, preparing for interview questions specific to your business, knowing exactly what the consular officer is looking for — weren't covered by anyone.
Immigration lawyers charge $8,000–$25,000 and focus on the legal filings. That's valuable. But the filing is the easy part. The hard part is the preparation: building a document package that immediately communicates your eligibility, and walking into the consulate interview ready to answer every question confidently and consistently.
After his own successful E-1 application, he turned that experience into a repeatable process. E1VisaHelp is the result — a firm focused exclusively on E-1 visa preparation for Canadian business owners, at a price point that makes sense for the service.
What makes us different
E-1 exclusive focus
We only do E-1 visas. Not E-2, not TN, not general immigration consulting. This specialization means our process, our checklists, and our mock interview questions are tuned specifically to what Canadian E-1 applicants face.
Applicant perspective
Our methodology comes from having gone through the process as a Canadian business owner — not from studying immigration law. We know what the consulate is actually looking for because we've sat across from them.
Flat fee, no surprises
$4,000 CAD flat fee covers document review, organization strategy, interview coaching, and unlimited mock interview sessions. No hourly billing, no add-ons, no unexpected invoices.
We complement your lawyer
We're not a replacement for immigration legal counsel — we're the preparation layer that makes your lawyer's filing stronger. Most of our clients work with a lawyer on the legal side and us on the preparation side.
What we're not
We are not immigration lawyers. We don't file your DS-160 or represent you legally. We can't guarantee visa approval — nobody can. What we can do is give you the best possible preparation so that when you walk into that consulate interview, you've already answered every question they can ask, your documents tell a clear and organized story, and you know exactly what to expect.
We also don't do everything. We focus on document preparation strategy, application narrative, and interview coaching. That narrower focus is what makes our process work.
How we work with clients
Eligibility assessment
Free 30-minute call to assess whether your business genuinely qualifies for E-1. We look at your US trade percentage, transaction history, and business structure. If we don't think you have a strong case, we'll tell you before you spend a dollar.
Document strategy session
We review everything you have — tax returns, invoices, contracts, bank records — and map out exactly what you need, what's missing, and how to organize it so it tells the strongest possible story.
Application narrative
We help you write the business narrative and supporting letter that contextualizes your application. The documents prove it; the narrative explains it clearly.
Interview preparation
Multiple mock interviews using questions specific to your business situation. We identify your weak points and prepare you for follow-up questions. Most clients do 3–5 sessions before their interview.
